In Pensacola, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Coastal Body Works at (850) 432-8124; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, coastalbodyworks.com.

Lisa, Tracy and Ronnie from Coastal Body Works were all so responsive and helpful when our vehicle was in a crash and needed repair. From the first time I called regarding getting the car towed to them, through completing a detailed estimate for the insurance company, they helped us navigate the whole insurance claims process and gave us great advice. They are very truthful, transparent, and honest. I definitely recommend them if you want a place that will treat your car like it’s their own.

I had a great experience at Coastal Body Works. I was referred by a friend and am so grateful for that, as I moved here recently and had no idea who to go to for some paint/bumper issues with my Mercedes. Travis was awesome, and very responsive. His son, even drove me home after I dropped my car off there. Best of all, they were VERY reasonable....I'm sure, way less than it would have been at the dealership. I hope I don't need them again anytime soon but if I do, I know where to go!

I have been working with Ronnie at Coastal Body Works since January of this year and it has been nothing short of Exceptional. After being taken advantage of by another body shop that worked on my car multiple times and still couldn’t fix it properly, I was referred to Coastal Body Works. The customer service alone was so much better, and the quality of work was amazing, my vehicle was back to new. And then a few weeks ago, after my boyfriend was involved in an accident and insurance considered totaling my car, I reached out for a second opinion and Ronnie’s first question was, “Is he okay?” That meant alone meant a lot to me. He took the time to give me a second opinion on the vehicle and even helped me when dealing with the insurance company. He is super personable and compassionate. I will forever recommend Ronnie and this company. I would give 100 stars if I could.

Coastal Body Works did a great job with our 23 year old Volvo that was in mint condition before the fender bender. During the process I was impressed with the Friday updates with photos. When the car was finished I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that they had also detailed it inside and out. They do quality work with a quality work ethic. Highly recommended.
